Default gsr 215 whp goal?

im running a gsr block and head with type r jdm pistons on stock rods. I plan on running supertech valve springs and retainers with skunk 2 pro 1s is this achievable of 215whp on s300? also what headers/ intake would be the best way to go?

What makes you want 215whp? I always make goals based off "real life" numbers. Like track times.

I second the above post. Toda rep header and a 3.5" intake tapered down to the TB

I'd opt for the performer over the victor

Performer X or Ultra Street will be a better choice for this platform.

I think you will have to toy with your CR a bit either by way of machine work or head gasket choice, but 215 could definitely be attainable with a stock bore/stroke GSR. Like the above mentioned tho, you will most likely be better off with a speed based goal. Dyno #s are really just for bragging rights and will vary greatly between machines. Do you want 215 on a Dynojet? If so that's probably closer to 190s to the wheels on a Dynamic or Mustang Dyno. Also, the power you make will net you much different times depending on what the engine is dropped into. 12.50s on slicks in a totally gutted hatch at 215hp, doable. In a fully dressed 2500# coupe? Not likely. Etc etc. The best thing to do would be to read some of the all motor threads and see what real world ETs people are putting down with similar setups as yours and then look at the power figures, otherwise your kind of just shooting blind for a random number on a screen.
