RSX Fuel Filler Neck... does this look normal?
So I just bought my ABP RSX-S about two weeks ago and it passed inspection fine and didn't have any issues noticeable for the first couple hundred miles I drove it. It recently threw a check engine light for EVAP Canister Leak P1457... I ordered a new canister shut valve per the DIY guide on here but noticed a problem the other day while filling up, my gas tank doesn't make a distinctive 'hiss' sound when the cap is removed.
I checked it again today and it still doesn't do it. Slight hint of gas smell from the inside of the car but no signs of leaks or anything. I had the car up on the lift and saw that my fuel filler neck doesn't seem OEM... I was reading that a common CEL for evap leaks at the fuel tank side is supposed to be P1456... but before I continue... does this look normal? I am going to see if the shop near my work can do a smoke vacuum leak test before applying any repairs, however this just doesn't look right to me. Let me know if yours looks the same...
