During the 2015 Acura NSX debut at the NAIAS in Detroit, Acura handed out press kits to the press corp. In total 2,500 of these press kits were produced with 2k going to journalists, bloggers, and media influencers. The remaining 500 went to "industry insiders."

I've been to at least 100 press conferences and none have produced as cool a "press kit" as Acura did with the 2015 NSX debut. Quite a few of the recipients have already put them on ebay and most have been going for upwards of $150. Some have a BIN of $250 and I've seen one at 1k. Even Jalopnik was pissed at the very notion that journalists would do such a thing and that the prices seemed extravegant.

The model itself is 1/43 scale, made of solid metal, features engraving on the bottom, and is fairly well detailed. I used a TSM NSX Concept model as a reference in addition to a quarter. It was produced by Sunrich Toys in Cali.

 

So there are still a few press kits for sale if you're interested on ebay. Acura PR says no more will be produced so the production run is 2,500 with 2k given to the industry journalists. Prices for the press kits are hovering around the $200 mark.
