2005 odyssey EXL j35 VCM, P0301-p0306 missfire
So If you own a J series(j35) here is some info for you. The whole van shook at idle and the engine with the hood popped sounded like a diesel when cold.
The car was throwing p0300,p0301,p0302,p0303,p0304,p0305,p0306.
---I tested vacuum and it was pulling 21" hhg. The maf sensor was tested using torque free and was withing spec, the egr system was clean. Also the first compression stroke was reading 90psi and maximum was 240psi(cold). This is way above what it should be!!! This was the only clue that let me know the valves were tight.
Moral of the story is a valve job solved the issue. Everything tested fine but the exhaust valves were tight and intake valves were loose.
This engine has the eco mode or VCM and still felt funky when it kicks in but it feels much better than it did. Before at idle you could hear spare change ratting around from the engine vibration.
