So my brother has a 1997 Honda Civic 5 speed with a b16a3 from a 95 del sol. It recently overheated and knocks like a sob. So my question is will a b18 bolt up to his tranny? And does it make a difference if the b18 is from an automatic or manual? I appreciate all the help in advance guys. Thanks

Bolt up yes, however you need to find a 92-95 model so everything can plug and play.
