Default obd2 dizzy on obd1 head ?

I have a b16a2 block with a (1992) b16a head in my 96 honda civic. Car is converted to obd1 with a p28 with a basemap. my question is would i have any issues using a obd2 dizzy on my obd1 set up? or do i need a obd1 dizzy and obd2-obd1 dizzy jumper.

wondering if i will have any issues with vtec or etc... ?
thanks for your time.

Nope, no issues.

You'll have to remove the pins on your OBD2 distributor and swap them into the OBD1 plugs, but they're the same colors so it should be self explanatory. Swap the wires one by one and you're good to go.
