I am fixing to rebuild my engine. Do I need to replace the piston pins?,as every rebuild kit I've reviewed online does not include them in their kits

Are you replacing the rods or pistons?

If yes, I would also replace the pins. They are a pressed fit pin and should be replaced if you are taking the rod and pistons apart.

If no, then I wouldn't bother with the pin.

Most quality rebuild kits that come with pistons and rings should also come with the wrist pins. Guess it depends on what type of rebuild kit you're looking at. If it's just a bearings, rings and gasket kit, then they probably don't. I would call that more of a refresh kit than a rebuild kit.
