I've been searching for reasons to get another ECU over flashpro, I couldn't really find much on the subject. So, is Flashpro the best for tuning a 9th gen Civic? If not what other ECUs are better and what features do they have that are better?

You could look at Motec or AEM EMS... but they are way out of most ppl's budgets!

 

This. Plus with other standalones it's up to you to wire it in, a lot of the factory features will be lost like cruise control, vsa, etc. Also you'll lose your OBD2 capabilities meaning you'll probably never pass smog assuming you have that. Just buy flashpro.
