Wow, $100 for an factory original P28 socketed for S300? That's pretty cheap. You'll pay $100 easily for a stock P28 that is in good shape as-is.
Yes, we offer our P28 spec ECU's as either up-converted P06's or from factory original P28's. Plus our casings are reconditioned and lids are powder coated
It all depends on what we have on hand at the time. There isn't enough factory original P28's to go around for everyone. That is why we (as all other reputable ECU suppliers) use converted ECU's as well as original P28's. A converted P06 is identical to a P28 if done correctly. The only difference being that we install the VTEC components vs. them being installed from the factory.
As I said though, if you can get a quality original P28 socketed properly for S300 for $100 then you should jump on it.

on another note... people i dont need the s300 unit i only need the ecu ready for me to put in my s300 in it.
No problem. If that falls through, we have plenty in stock. If you want your ECU built on a factory original P28, we have quite a few on hand right now so we can do that if needed just let us know.
