Dumb question. But are the plug wires swapped?

No i bought thos car with the misfiring n ended finding out that this head is from a 92 civic. not a 96 cuz the previous owner put the wrong distributor he put the 96 obd 2 with only one bolt bolted so i purchased the right distributor and rewired it to obd 2 and thought that will fix the problem but it didnt

I'm pretty sure you can't just swap on a head and do nothing else. What ECU is in it. What else have you done to it?

Sorry for the misunderstanding i was at work n got unfocused but anyways so i bought this 1996 civic hx for cheap the chek engine light was on n it sounded like it was misfiring.Did a compression check n all four cylinders had compression so i bought it .Took it home n scanned it n misfiring codes popped up for cylinders 4 n 2 So i started diagnosing the car started with the injectors n they were all good checked spark n all for had spark was ganna start checking the timing n seeing the the distributor had only one bolt on then discovered the bolt pattern didnt matched.then discovered the head thatt was on the engine belonged to a 92 civic si. So i bought a distributor for a 92 civic n rewired it from obd1to obd 2 thinking it will fix the problem n it didn't.i cleared the codes n it sounds good but wen the check engine light pop's up the car starts running like crap and now iam lost.

I would guess the issue is due to the poorly thought out swapping of the SI head on HX block. From the factory HX models operate quite differently than other models. They are the ones whose automatic model has that freaky cvt crap box, they use a different type of Vtec setup, use varrying types of O2 sensors, and have an EGr setup not found on other models. More than likely the block itself is entirely fine and if you take the time to ensure the ecu, harness, head/dizzy/Vsolenoid etc. you are currently running is correct to the original setup for the HEAD currently on your HX block, the swap should run, drive, and idle fine.
