Default Crack in my Spoon spoiler

I received my Spoon spoiler in the mail and inspected it, like I would usually. Noticed this crack...

It was perfect before it got sent off. Pissed off at my mail service... Is there a way to repair it, so that it looks like it never happened? The actual carbon fibre is intact, but the resin is cracked/split. Thanks

Best way to fix that is to sand it to the carbon layer where the damage is and apply a small amount of resin to the carbon and block sand it smooth. Basically you want to sand out the small spider cracks in the gel coat and also reveal the cracks in the carbon and repair it with new resin. scuff the entire piece and either gelcoat or clear coat it. You may also need to apply a small fiberglass patch to the backside as a reinforcement. If you notice on the backside the lip has chop strand mat fiber glass so I would use chopped strand mat to reinforce it.

If you sand too deep into the carbon when you re finish it it will look distorted so as you are sanding if you begin to get black dust stop. You are deep enough.
