Bright cluster warning lights - Anyone ever had this happen? Pics
I made a recent thread about frying my circuit board on my cluster and my dimmer switch at the same Time when installing leds. Still don't know why or how it happened. Replaced dimmer switch and got an automatic cluster at the junkyard for 30 bucks. Swapped the circuit board on the back of the auto cluster to my Manuel cluster and reinstalled leds. LEDs working fine nothing burnt up this time around. Just tested them by flipping parking lights on. Didn't drive it till yesterday and then noticed this as soon as i started it up.

As you can see my hatch open and check engine light at normal colors. The srs, both blinkers, battery, oil, and brake light are all a weird color. Like a bright orange. One test I did was take the bulb from the hatch open light and put it in the blinker to see if there were different bulbs which I did think was the case but anyway ended up same scenario. Anyone have any ideas?

Take the cluster out and pop the cover off. does the front of the cluster have the proper colors in place?
They are little plastic pieces. If not swap then from your old cluster

take apart the cluster and make sure the color filters are in place. the pics look like the "naked" light coming from the bulb. ive seen them fall out of the cluster before. i just take a soldering iron to the white plastic to melt 2 corners of them to hold it in.
I was almost certain I used the same housing as the cluster I had before but that's a good idea. And yeah it does look like the naked light coming from the bulbs. Good thing I kept my old housing just in case. Thanks for the advice I'll update in a few hours when I'm on break!
Problem solved. I guess I ended up grabbing the auto housing I picked up from the yard and sure as **** no plastic pieces were over the bulbs... Thanks guys!
