Is there a module/receiver/something I can look for to determine if my Accord has keyless entry? The dealer may be able to tell me from the VIN but this could save me the trip.

The link to Service bulletin 98-011 was helpful in that it shows keyless entry and/or security systems on the 1999 LX were only dealer installed which may decrease the chances that 1) it has either and 2) the VIN will tell. I will check with my dealer on the VIN, but I am still open to looking for components such as the one at http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-ACCORD-KEYLESS-ENTRY-CONTROL-LOCK-MAIN-UNIT-RELAY-MODULE-08E61-S84-1M0-02-/131392423640?_trksid=p2054897.l4275 but I don't know where it would be. Anyone know?

 

I asked the Honda dealer parts guy about keyless entry and/or security. He said that 1) only factory installed options would recorded with a VIN; and 2) although the keyless entry and security systems were available as a kit, they are no longer available for my model year.
