Default Will Not Crank!

So the engine died the other day while I was driving. I think I ran out of gas or at least I think that's what happened since my low fuel light was on. I put half a tank of gas in and now it won't start. I loosened the bleeder screw on the fuel rail and I get gas coming out pretty hard when I turn the key on. I have spark on all spark plugs. The engine turns over really strong so the batteries not the issue. I do know that my crankshaft sensor was throwing a code but it has been like that since I did a timing job about 25,000 miles ago. I did notice that I had some signs of oil on the timing belt housing that is new. Is there a chance that the timing belt could have slipped and caused it to jump timing making it not want to crank.

Running out of gas is pretty hard on the fuel pump as it is what actually keeps it cool and prevents early failure. In addition, it may have sucked up some debris and is causing blockage in the injectors.

As far as the timing belt goes, the error should have been investigated and fixed immediately. If your car died while driving because of a snapped timing belt and you tried to start it after, you definitely are going to have some internal damage in the head. Every time you crank it there is more damage occurring. These are interference motors.

What is the vehicle year, make, model?

im having issues where my main relay is good and my fuel pump works. When i turn the key on it will not turn the fuel pump on. I put my relay in my friends civic and it worked. I used a jump wire to 1 & 7 and the fuel pump comes on. I see this is a common issue in 90's model hondas. i have a 95 civic Dx. Any help?
