1999 Accord LX D4 light comes on at start-up

1999 Accord LX D4 light comes on at start-up
I recently replaced my D4 light and noticed that it comes on briefly with the other indicator lights at start-up. It had been burnt out for so long that I don't remember if that's normal. Is it normal and if not then what does it mean? Thanks.
