just bought a z6 from a local junkyard with roughly 80-90k miles. I am swapping it into my civic dx. I just picked it up today and noticed the coolant residue in the exhaust port of cylinder 1. I attached a picture, hopefully it worked. Should I be worried? I had the same signs when I took apart my d15. I planned on taking the head off the d16 anyways for a new head gasket, studs, titanium springs/retainers, and valve cover gasket. Just wondering if thats a common issue or bad headgasket and if I should even proceed with my plans stated above. Or do I take the motor back?
Thank you all,
Matt

Whenever buying a junk yard engine, you should always tear it down and completely overhaul it. I sure as hell wouldn't put that in a car and expect it to run for more than 6 months.
