Default 98 civic fuel leak

Hi there

I've noticed a leak on my fuel line under my driver side. Can this be repaired or does the line need to be replaced? Car is a 98 civic. Also anyone know the approximate cost to fix this? In Canada.

Thanks

this ^^

years of salty roads will have you replacing alot more then a fuel line.. so get ready!

probably after the fuel line, the return line will prob be next.. Might as well do them all if you plan on keeping it.

If it were me, id replace it and sell the car. Your going to be replacing alot of stuff to keep it on the road.

if its not under the engine bay or the gas tank the leak is the line. they tend to rust out the worst where they go up over the subframe and gain in the back where they bend up to hug the unibody above the tank. its getting common these cars arent getting any newer. you should really replace all the lines under there at the same time. 2 brake lines, fuel feed, fuel return, and the vent line as well. the lines arent that much money, i think around 40-50 each prebent from honda except for the vent line its bigger and like 80 bucks. labor is the issue here. the subframe and gas tank have to come down.

ive done it on 2 civics in my garage on jackstands its a total pain in the ***.
