Hey guys, I'm putting together all the pieces now to finally get my A2 into my Ep3. I've got a Toda header that I found cheap because it had an aftermarket flex section installed (poorly) to replace the original that had broken.
Since I'm going to remove that section and at the very least install a new megaphone, I was thinking this would be a good place to install the high flow cat I plan to run.
A little background on the motor setup. All oem build K20a2, Tsx cams, RRC pistons, port matched RBC, RDX injectors and some very mild porting in the head. Exhaust is 60mm.
My questions for those with insight are... Is there a less or more ideal place to put the cat post collector? And would I benefit from using a 3" ID cat vs a 2.5" like the rest of the exhaust system? It will be a 200 cell vibrant piece. Thanks in advance!
