01 Accord deck lid holding water
I just bought a 2001 Accord for my daughter. After it rains or I wash the car, water is getting trapped in the deck lid. When you raise the deck lid water pours into the trunk (a lot) from a couple openings on the underside of the deck lid. I have searched with no luck. Maybe there is a drain that is clogged?? Hope this sounds familiar to someone. TIA

Pull the deck lid out and watch it while someone hits it with the hose.
If you have the moonroof then there should be a drain hose going down each of the rear pillars.

If the trunk has a wing/spoiler, verify that the attachment bolts are still sealed to the lid.
Verify the taillights are tight and the seals are correctly installed.
Verify the taillights are not leaking.
With the deck-lid open, check the bottom edge, there should be a couple of drains on the inner structure, outside of the trunk seal. They may be clogged with gunk.
