95 Honda Civic Paint Peeling- How to Fix it?

How do I fix the paint peeling on the roof near the moonroof?
I've ordered a touch up paint. Do I need to sand it with primer then apply the touch up paint and put a clear coat?
Opinions are appreciated thank you
Once it starts peeling like that there's really no stopping it. You can touch it up so it won't rust. The only way to really fix it is sand it and paint the roof.
You could fix that for 80 bux probably using sem spray cans. You need sandpaper too. Flick off the peeling and disbonded paint carefully is the key. Buy 2k clear and spray can blender and blend around the sun roof.
Wet sand and polish the whole roof. You could just re clear and paint as well with cans and blend the roof in.

This is a great cheap fix, but unfortunately it will not last long and is only a temporary fix. The sun will eat right through the blend on the roof.
Drop the sunroof and tape back all the moldings. Eg sometimes you can get lucky and the top windshield molding will slide out. Blow off chipped paint see how far it goes. It's only peeling there from half *** sanding around the sunroof from the last time it was painted. If it continues to flake off with air gun then strip it. Prime and paint. The only right way to go.
