car turns on but turns off
My car was running fine and it just died today on the way to work. So my uncle came to check it out, spliced a wire (that's grounded to the negative post on the battery and powered on the positive side of the battery) to the power wire under my seat that leads to the fuel pump and it turns on. I guess my question is, how can i make a switch that manually powers the fuel pump. Could anyone tell me what i would need? I need my car to go to work and run errands. Thanks in advance
If your main relay clicks its sending fuel to the engine.
Does your car crank but does not fire up?
If it just cranks a bunch of times, I'm willing to bet its the distributor coil that's gone bad.
