Default Transmission problem code 14

I have a 1995 Honda accord lx at first my d4 would flash when I went to start it and it wouldn't start, thought it was a bad saftey neutral switch but it wasnt, so then I pulled a code 14 and I can't find out what it is I keep getting a million diffrent answers and now my car will completly not start. So if anyone can help me out with some information It would help a lot!! I'm trying to get it to a transmition place but I can't get it to start to get there.

14 FAS wire, that is the communication wire between the ECU and TCU. Verify the wire harness between the ECI and TCU is not damaged. Verify there is 5Volts between D16 and A25 or A26. Verify the Brown/White(FAS) wire between the ECU/TCU is not damaged. Verify the connections/pins are not corroded or damaged.

For the TCM code 14, some possible causes:

Faulty TCM (Transmission Contol Module)
Faulty ECM (Engine Control Module)
Short or open in Shift Acknowledge wire (Brn/Wht) between TCM and ECM

1.Turn ignition ON and wait for at least 2 seconds.

Measure the voltage between TCM terminal D16 and A26 or A25.

Is there at least 5 volts?
Yes – Check for loose TCM connectors. Can also be faulty TCM.

2. Turn ignition off.

Disconnect the 26P harness connector from the ECM and the 26P harness connector from the TCM.

Check for continuity in the Brn/Wht wire between ECM harness connector pin A18 and TCM harness connector pin D16.

Is there continuity?
If no continuity, repair open in Brn/Wht wire in the harness connectors.

If there is continuity, can be faulty TCM or ECM.

OK so i have 5 volts and continuity. i found a used ecu 37820-9oj-l50 385 kl-at. having hard time to find tcm 28100-poj-a03 jas oki red dot 5601u. What does the number mean after the red dot? Does they both need to be reprogrammed. Which one should i replace? i opened up both and did not see any leaking or burnt resistors or capacitors, cirquet board and solder look good

If you measured 5 volts between TCM terminal D16 and A26 or A25, and there is continuity in the Brn/Wht wire between ECM harness connector pin A18 and TCM harness connector pin D16; then it is higher probability of the ECM being the issue instead of the TCM.

Double-check that all ECM and TCM connections are good (for example: wiring, terminals, connections secure, etc.).

The modules do not have to be reprogrammed. The Honda part number is the number to follow. I am not sure what the red dot and numbers or blue dot with numbers signify; they are probably some manufacturer codes .
