Default Dome ligh issue.

A few days ago since it snowed. I had a issue with my dash lights not coming on when ignition is on and my dome light was working.

Then suddenly the dash lights start working again but my dome light wasn't.Battery is 2.5 years old. My LED footwells work with the door switch (they're fused seperately).

The filament in the dome bulb is still intact but not working. It's not a blown fuse because my test light works when connected to the dome terminals Could it be the cold affecting my electrical system or is the dome bulb just blown?

Thanks!!

Why did you not just try a new bulb?

Dash lights on with ignition? Footwell lights? You should probably clarify what chassis you are working with.

I assumed that just like the normal light bulb you'd see a broken filament or burnt casing. But since the test light works I'll buy a couple bulbs tommorrow aand see what happens.

Same thing with fuses. Looks good but can still be bad.

And still, you need to tell what car this is about.
