SiriusXM Radio - 2015 Civic
I am a long time Civic owner and I am planning to purchase a 2015 Civic Coupe. I bought my first one 1994 and it went 300,000. My second Civic purchased in 2006 had 228,000 until it was totaled in an accident last month. It would have easily made 300,000. I now want to purchase a 2015 Civic EX-L Coupe (without NAV/XM).
I am a long time user of Sirius-XM radio and have been able to do so quite easily using the AUX. Unfortunately, the new EX-L does not have an AUX. My salesman says I can get a converter cable to connect my XM which will go into the USB port. First of all, I cannot locate such a cable and if I did, will my radio work in the car? If I cannot get this issue rectified, I don't think I will purchase the Civic, which I sure don't want to do. I know the AUX comes in the LX, but I will change brands before I have to go down to the LX.
If anyone can send information on how I can use my external XM radio in the EX-L, it would be much appreciated. I still want this car.
Thank you.
