Does any have a list of a k20a2 engine piece by piece? Want to start from scratch
I'm new at this and I want to know every part and piece of the k20a2 engine including transmission in a list. Please help! Save me more money if I know what parts I can replace instead of just buying it whole.

um, get a manual from something with that engine in it, and make a list, thats why exploded diagrams, why not find a decent used engine, and just take it apart, no need to replace every little part
And, Is it a good idea to buy the engine and transmission apart?
I'd say you'd be better off buying a rear ended car, that way you'll have everything.
Is engine, box, brakes, suspension (if it fits?)
Try a search and it should come up.
From what I've read on here the swap is about $10k

****. It's cuz I'm doing this as a project, learning experience, and cuz I wanted to fix my car. My friend is doing the work I just need to know the parts and all that good stuff.
Piecing an entire engine together is going to cost a significant amount more then just purchasing a good condition drivetrain from another vehicle. It'd even be cheaper buying a crate engine from Honda. If you want to know specifics on certain components for a K-series, regarding what kind of compression ratio/reliability/usefulness/etc... there are several sites out there, including our K-Series specific forum here. If you're looking for someone to just spoon feed you all the answers that could be found by doing some simple research, I'd say that this project is way out of your league.

There's plenty of information to guide you along the path you seek both in the FAQ's, and via a simple Google search (far more information then when I did my '06 K24A2 swap back in 2006, I can assure you).
