93 Civic Hatch/JDM B16A stock engine -- No vtec no CEL
93 Civic Hatch JDM B16A stock engine. I believe its the original harness to the car. P28 ECU socketed P30 base map chip Hondata S100. this is the first time it has run since socketing the ECU. I am able to jump the pressure switch and power up the solenoid and makes a change to the idle. I have tried a different pressure switch. Grabbed one from the junkyard. I'm not sure where I should be headed I'm thinking its going to be a problem in the harness. are there any common problems I should be looking at first? any advice would be helpful.
Are you sure the car is wired for vtec? I believe only the 1993 si hatch came prewired. I think hondapartshero sells the vtec wiring that connects into the plug for the ecu
Yes the CEL works I have pulled codes out of it before had bad IAT and burnt transistor in old ECU for purge control I believe (fixed). I would try another ECu if I had access to one.

Yes the CEL comes on for 2 then off no codes tried again. I back probed solenoid side of the vtec solenoid connector it will send a 13v signal but not until 5500-6k and still nothing. the car seems to be struggling to make power above 4k and on my last test drive I was able to reach 6500 rpm in 1st gear to only 3k when I was almost back to the shop. im really lost and I have nothing to point me in the right direction it seems like.
