My son's 02 Coupe (LX with rear drums) has some howling coming from the rear bearings. From what I have found online it's not that uncommon. Some folks report it at as little as 40k miles.

So I'm wondering if I should go with the Timken bearings, they cost less and if the Honda ones are beaing replaced as often as it seems maybe an aftermarket is the answer.

Any thoughts?
