rear strut thread pitch

I have a 94 honda del sol. the strut on the driver side rear, has damaged thread . what size pitch for strut ? I plan on using a die to clean thread and new nut.

its on parts diagrams if you ever need to look in the future, just look at the nut it will say m8(or what ever)x 1.25 pitch.
