2003 ACCORD KEY CODE

NEED KEY CODE TO MAKE NEW KEY. IS IT ON THE ORIGINAL INVOICE SOMEWHERE? WHAT DOES 2003 KEY CODE LOOK LIKE. IE 5 NUMBERS OR MIX OF ALPHA AND NUMBERS?

Can't think of a reason Honda would put Key codes on any paperwork. I know they cut them by VIN at the dealership. My guess is they look up the VIN in the Honda system and it gives them the codes to cut.

The key code is on a plastic key number tag that is provided with the keys when a car is purchased new.
