Hey!

I'm planning to buy a 1998 Honda Civic, but it has one problem; The A/C only works on 3 and 4(high), 1(low) and 2 doesn't work. It just doesn't activate on low. Doesn't sound or anything. But in high works like a charm, very cool A/C.
I'm a little hesitant because of that. I don't know if it's a big problem or not. I don't know almost anything about cars, so sorry if this is a stupid question.

Nah, it's not stupid, it's more or less common on cars over 10 years old. So you good lol

It sounds like a resistor or two in the AC control unit is bad, so if it were me I'd go to the junkyard and see if I can't find one that has them all working. But the experts here may not be like me. I'm different, because I'm simply an amateur with professional schooling

 

I have this issue with my turbo '96 ex as well, I'm just too lazy to fix it lol

I bought a $10 resistor from ebay and it worked!
