What you're saying makes no sense. The OEM seats already sit "flush", unless you've done something to **** with yours.

Give me an example of a rear seat sitting flush, I'm seriously not understanding this, not to mention almost all hb seats aren't really that comfortable.

 

sorry if i didnt make sense, i want something more then the original rear seats that comes in most eg6. like some type r rear seats, but then dont you have to customize a piece for the rear type r seats to fit perfectly flush? I also really like the original leather seats too but there to hard to find.... if i can find a mint condition one im willing to pay for the right price.

Looks like someone trimmed the bottom piece, because I've never seen itr rear seats sit like that in the eg hatch.

That will fix the look with new coverings, but can they improve the seat comfort in the back?

 

Yeah...those don't look installed correctly. At all. There should be a joint down at the bottom middle, and there isn't. There should not be that massive gap there. There should also be cloth behind that, as part of the trunk carpet. I'm not even sure if that's safe.

OP, get ANY OEM rear seat that's made for your car, and it'll sit correctly. Those look like they were installed by Hellen Keller.

 

I've looked at other images of ITR rear seats and the bottom seat looks pretty big, bigger than what OP provided. It looks like the owner of that eg trimmed alot.... You shouldn't need to do anything.

Unless people are switching the bottom portion for the sedan and making it fit.

 

Even the JDM trunk box-style seats have an annoying small gap at the sides. If OP is striving for perfection, he ain't gonna find it.

 

im not trying to look for something perfect, i just want something that will match my front ITR seats in my eg6, all the interior been switch to black, original interior was navy i believe??

 

Well.......google is your friend......tons, and I mean tons, of images of eg hatchies with itr rear seat setups. But might I suggest adding cusion under them to level them out, and also in hopes of making it comfortable.

 

I have dc2 uppers and a db8 bottom in the rear of my hatch. there isn't a gap at all like the pic above (they have the 2dr bottom in instead of 4dr)

 

So thats how people are getting them making it work?

 

RSX seats fit great but you have to swap the seat pan on the backs.

The fronts require quite a bit more work.

 

That is a coupe back seat. You need a bottom from a four door integra to fit correctly in a hatch.

 

All the options 5G owners have are pretty nice. Us 6G sedan owners are limited to hacking up a rear seat and losing fold down, or going all out and getting EL rears.

do any of you guys know if the ek9 type r rear seats would fit in the eg6?

 

The back, yes. The bottom, no. Google could have told you that.
