Hey guys so I'm looking into the 2015 CRV as a more fuel-efficient daily driver compared to the Tundra I have now. I'm curious what factory options or packages you guys have purchased that you've liked? And what the going cost for the new CRV has been for you?

 

I am also in the market for the new CR-V to replace my aging CR-V.

I've kind of narrowed it down to the new CR-V, Mazda CX-3, or the upcoming Honda HR-V. I don't quite need the space I used to with the CR-V anymore as I'm not hauling big supplies and tires from work to work. I just need a tad more space to pick up the parents every time they visit, and haul luggage. That an a occasional TV.

I was also considering a VW Golf TDI or possibly if the GTD comes out, but the salesman at Momentum VW was such a redneck inbred tool of a **** face, I'm kind of turned off by the idea now.

 

We need a god damn ctd-i in the us market........

 

nah we barely ever get any of the really good stuff. I do hear that they are bring the 2015 Civic Type R's..... ENGINE possibly to the U.S. market. What platform they are going to put that engine into, I have no idea. But at least we're getting something. I say put it in a next S2000 successor.

 

Or maybe put it in my CR-V.

 

Maybe just make it an option for every Honda available.

 

they should at least offer the new si engine in the crv. same engine just higher comp, like 30 or extra hp. I really like how the 15s look, if I didn't already have an almost new civic I would probably get one. wish they would do 6 speed too though...
