I swapped a b18a1 in my 91 civic si but I'm having problems with cranking. It cranks only sometimes when I turn the key.the other time its just a click sound. Took the starter in and its passed the test. I can jump the starter and it will crank just not inside with the key. My clutch safety switch is good and the rubber that push the button is in good condition. Main realy clicks 3 times like it should I tried to use the FAQ but every time I write in it, just says sorry no match. I can't even try to get it to run till I fig out this prob. Anyone had this prob b4? And its a good bat and all my grounds look good.

 

I am kinda new at the honda thing but it sounds like it may be your ignition switch.

 

I thought that. But it gets power to the main realy. But I'll take it off open it up and check the connection in side it
