Default 92-95 Civic ABS cabin/firewall harness vs. non-ABS harness

I'll be converting an Auto EH9 Civic to MT. It has ABS. I plan to keep the ABS.

I have a complete donor cabin/firewall harness from an MT EG8 to install but it was non-ABS. Question is: How integrated is the ABS wiring into the main cabin/firewall harness? Should I try to find myself an MT EH9 cabin/firewall harness instead, or is it mostly separate and I shouldn't worry about it being a big problem?

Note I'd rather yank the Auto harness out and replace it with an MT one for a nice clean install.

You can probably transfer the ABS wiring over. Since you're tearing out the auto harness just take it apart and inspect how its cabled up. You might have to repin some wires but that shouldn't be an issue.

The section that runs from just inside the firewall to washer pump is the same for auto and manual, and oddly sometimes found on non-abs civics. The rest I'm really not sure about.

These pages from the 93 civic ETM may prove helpful:

Thanks, TomCat. I have something similar for the 94 Civics, and it looks like that C416 might be my nemesis. Photos of connectors shows it in the left kick panel, meaning it probably has wiring that ran through the main firewall harness. Am right in the middle of exposing this connector in the sedan now to assess where it runs. Looks like I'll be hybridizing harnesses, but just want to get an idea of how much of a pain it will be.

Between the pages of the ETM and the wire harness and connector locations of the FSM, you should be able to see what is running where.

That was the thing I noticed about the FSM is that it didn't actually tell you what was in the connectors but did show the wire travel through the car. While the ETM doesn't show the travel but gives complete break down of the all connectors and wire colors.

It does. I'm not sure exactly where they run, but it definitely has wiring that runs through that harness as the harness I mentioned earlier plugs into those two large plugs up under the top left corner of the dash, just inside the firewall. I wonder if it's one of those rare things Honda decided to pre-wire in some models?
