FEELER: JDM EK9 Powertrain Full Swap
Hey All,
I am selling my B16B+S4C Powertrain setup, from the EK9 Civic Type R. The setup is super clean, and runs fantastic. No oil consumption whatsoever. Pulls very strong, extremely fun engine, 9000 rpm redline. Made 163whp/117wtq at ProFunction earlier in 2014, dyno-tuned by Mikey. The transmission shifts like butter all the way through, no grinds no notchiness. Brand new timing belt, water pump, and recent valve lash adjustment ($700 value).

Through the winter, the car will be at my sponsor's shop in Ohio getting ready for the K24. So whoever buys the setup, would need to get everything from there. I may be willing to ship if the seller covers the freight.
Taken mid-December.

Here is another picture of the car from earlier in the season

PM me if you are interested in the powertrain or full swap, and we can discuss further. No scammers, no lowballers. This is an extremely clean setup, and you have the benefit of buying a setup that you know was running great. You are not buying blind from an importer and taking them at their word.
Thanks,

For some reason I'm not receiving emails about replies... sorry for not responding.
Thanks for kind comments!
King, I will keep you in mind for some of the different parts that I need if you're willing to separate some. Pm me with a list and some prices if you want.
I'm actually considering doing the K20A-R, reasons being that I would like to keep everything OEM. So its essentially a plug n play setup with good power and a factory LSD. Without the need to do a K24 + civic LSD + RSX trans case. I also really love higher revs, and keeping with the "R" spirit of the car.
Yea I do autocross in Rantoul often. Maybe I will see you out there next season.

Please see updated pricing structure listed above. For the main assembly, I have been able to get the price down to an extremely competitive $3,000. This includes a brand new timing belt and water pump ($700 savings), recently upgraded Exedy Clutch and Flywheel (2013), and several other upgrades.
I have then listed out individual pricing for all of the other parts on the car. The buyer of the engine will have first dibs on whatever they'd like to take in addition. I will not part out any of the parts until the engine/trans is sold.
PM me if you're interested in finding out more.

This is a great option for someone looking for a super responsive, fun B-series upgrade. Not going to come along with nearly the amount of headaches and planning required for a K-Swap. Trust me on that...

Shoot me a pm if he would like to check it out. The engine is still in the car, so he could test drive it and see how it runs.
