01 EX Accord hesitation on acceleration
At times the car has a slight hesitation upon hitting the gas from a stop or a slow roll take off. The car has one check light for a bad CAT, there is a chunk of it broken off inside of it, at times you can hear it rattling inside there. I have run a can of seafoam through it, run good gas through it.
Okay? replace the cat since you've already stated it is an issue. If you're getting an engine light for the cat then its possible there is more going on then a small chunk missing. It could be melted, clogged etc
It does not run like it is clogged (have driven a car that had a clogged one, the honda is not running like that in anyway).
But I know I need to replace it.
But I know I need to replace it.
well on your car the ecu uses the O2 sensors to determine whether the engine is running rich or lean on a narrow band. What is the code? po420?
I don't recall off hand. But it was a code that stated that the cat was in need of replacing. It was nothing citing the replacement of a 02.
well I dont know what you're waiting on? If the O2's are not getting correct readings then your ecu isn't fueling your engine properly. You answered your own question
