Default D-series clutch compatibility question for swap

I plan to swap in a d15b vtec into my 1990 civic Si, and would like to know which clutch to use if I keep the original a6 cable transmission. The 88-91 clutch kit or the 92-00 clutch kit?

Rule of thumb, go with the clutch that matches the tranny. But a heads up, the 88 is a different spline count.

Match the clutch to the flywheel and input shaft spline count. In your case get the clutch kit for a 90-91 Civic Si and use the Civic Si flywheel.
