My car is only reving up to 4500 Rpms. I need help on how to fix the problem. Cleaned the IACV and replaced the hose that connects under the throttle body and IACV. Also replaced thermostat and gasket and flushed coolant. Starts right up no problem. Just losses a lot of power running and rev limits at 4500 rpm. Thank you in advance!!!

 

Check for stored codes .. number one cause is bad distributor sensors

 

Make sure it's really stopping at 4500 and not that your tach is slow. Mine is very slow. Compare your speed at 3000 to what your car should actually be doing.

Nope not yet but I'm going to check the map sensor
