Question about an oil leak on 2002 Civic Coupe Ex 125K
A shop said just by visually looking at it that it needed the oil pan gasket.
A drop or two will hit the floor within a few hours.
Anyways, when I searched for common oil leaks one very common is the oil/cam cap that is $8 and takes 10 minutes to change (to the right of the EGR). So I did that today but I still have the leak. I thought maybe it would travel to the other side and was worth giving a shot.
I have 2 questions though:
1) How long to do the oil pan gasket (auto trans)?
2) On one of these forums a member said he still was gushing after doing the gasket. And that he needed to do the oil pump seal and the crankshaft seal. Is that common to go at 125K as I am hoping to just do the gasket.
Any responses are appreciated!
