I am thinking about getting a remote car starter installed. I've seen deals for about $150 with installation. However, these usually come with short range remotes.

Is it easy to install a remote car starter yourself? I could just buy a decent $150 remote car starter and install it myself, just not sure how difficult it is. I am not too bad taking things apart but I don't know too much about circuits or electronics. If there is a guide to follow, I would probably be able to do it.

 

just follow a guide about a similar honda/acura. and also follow youtube alarm installs. use the proper techniques and everything should be fine. also download a wiring guide from the12volt.com or google to help identifying the wires that u will need. most anti-theft experts on here suggest DEI alarms (clifford, python, viper)
