Help! I overfilled my oil... Advice needed
Help! Advice needed
A month ago I topped off my oil. Shortly thereafter of course my caR is smoking but it stopped so I didn't think anything of it. Just now, a month later, I realized I didn't just top it off, I put the whole amount in and consequently overfilled my oil. My engine bay is a little bit of a mess but the levels should be fine now.
My question is, have I done any permanent damage I need to tend to? I drove it like that for a month, I'll get an oil change ASAP, but I want to make sure there's nothing else I need to do.

it provably got burned up in the PCV system, if your oil pan has line for that system oil can be sucked up it and end up in the intake manifold
