Best brakes w/ stock wheels (AP1)?
You have to be more specific with your question, there's no such thing as the "best breaks".
Judging from this question I think it's safe to assume you're not tracking your car.
Regardless most people including me get away with running:
1. decent pad (axxis ult, hawk hp+ etc. for the street)
2. blank rotors (skip the slotted and drilled ****)
3. good dot4 fluid (ate, motul)
4. ss lines.
But if your looking for the bling effect no bbk will fit behind your stock wheels.

Why spend the money? Good set of pad will do fine for our car.
Street:
cross drill and slot for OEM pad. just for look.
Track:
Cobalt Friction pad XR-2 front, XR-4 rear
OEM rotors

Not sure how much of a BBK you can really fit on 16" wheels, but while pads help they won't fix the fade that tends to occur after several hot laps.
P.S. - factory brakes are also missing a look cool factor....which is one of the few things that aren't awesome about the car from the factory.

I couldn't believe how much difference it made just getting fresh fluid in before race day. Fade came way later. I'm stock all the way, and 'race' once every couple of months or so.

I went to Road America 8 days after buying the car. Stock brake pads are terrible lol. That was the first and last time I used stock pads for the track.
