I have a 1994 del sol that came factory without power steering. What would it take to convert it to power steering with a gsr motor and is it hard?

 

go to your local self-service wrecking yard. find a del-sol (or 92-95 civic) with power steering. remove rack, pump, reservoir and anything else connected to or between those items as part of the system. you will have what you need and also find out how difficult it is. it's not easy. then you'll need a B-series pump bracket.

some parts may interchange with integras. check online parts catalogs like rockauto.com and hondapartsunlimited.com to compare numbers and find out for yourself.

 

You will need a Del Sol (not Civic) subframe from a power steering car.

 

Nah. It's the same subframe across 92-95 Civics and 94-01 Integras with P.S. Should be an easy find.

 

The part #'s for the sub frame between manual rack and p.s rack are different last I check.
