Ls swap into crx ecu and power steering help
All right so as of now, I have a running 96 integra with no title so I'm going to put the ls engine in my 91 crx si. I've just got a few questions. Since I have the whole ecu and wiring harness from the teg, can I just unplug the ECU and pull the engine with most of the wires still connected then swap it in and for the most part just plug it right into the ecu? With no splicing or anything necessary?
Another thing is I have a pair of 95 axles from a different teg laying around. Would these work for a swap or do I need the DA axles and intermediate shaft? Cause everything I've read says I need the 90-93 axles instead, even though I have a 96 engine.
I also need to know what to do with the power steering pump. I'm not looking to build a monstrous race car but rather something that gets off the line with some power. I do plan on boosting later but that's long term. So i also saw that a power steering rack from a certain model civic bolts right into the crx si and I could hook it up with the LS power steering pump. Is that possible? Does anyone know if I can upgrade to power steering somewhat easily like that?
Also my car is lowered on some Tokito coil overs so will I run into any problems there? It's not that low but it's dropped a little for sure.
I'm sure I've got more questions that I'm not thinking of but I've got a lot of time into research and these are things that some people say are possible and others say it's not. If anyone's done the swap, some help would be great!

No, the ECU wiring is integrated with the dash harness.
You need DA axles.
You'll need custom made shift rods.
Yeah, you could do that to add power steering but I'm not sure why you'd want to.
What kind of problems? There are many problems inherent to lowering a vehicle too far but none are specific to a B series swap. I suppose downpipe clearance would be your main concern.
There are dozens of how-to's available on swapping a B series into a CRX. I'd recommend against attempting to reinvent the wheel.

No, you'll need a Jumper harness or a different ECU. To stay OBD0 you'll need a PR4 ecu to run the B18. If you want to switch over to OBD1 You'll need a OBD1 P75 ecu and OBD0 to OBD1 jumper harness. You're car is a 96 So it's more than likely an OBD2 P75 ECU which won't work.
You'll need a DA Drivers axle an halfshaft... Passenger will work from any B-Series car.
Swap in a power rack from donor 88-91 car. But, you'll need the hose from the Integra that comes from the rack to the actual pump at the motor.
No issues with lowered cars... other than clearance
All ef engine swaps are the same... car needs to be MPFI. Need B-Series swap mounts, Engine, Cable Transmission, Shift linkage (from personal experience buy aftermarket), Exhaust work, Axles, DA t-bracket, ECU... thank that's about it.

I believe he can use the 94+ axles since he has the matching 94+ intermediate shaft and 94+ axle seals.
