low exhaust sound!!! i don't like iT
i just got an APEX I world sport cat back exhaust installed and i can hear a some Difference but not that much, it doesn't produce that much sound like regular exhausts, i know there are resonators and sound dampers......i have a 2002 v6 accord, i want more sound out of this damn thing! i should be installing an AEM CAI into it too, i think that should add some more sound, but where the hell are the sound dampers and shiet that factory puts on the CAR????!
i want more sound!!!

the exaust isn't where most of the "sound" comes from....it's the intake that will give you the "sound"....my setup right now is about 75% of the engine noise coming from the intake and 25% from the exaust....well, that's at open throttle and at the top of the power band, but it's all good...you will be satisfied with that aem cai as it will richen up the tone quite nicely....
dont drive through a lake and you wont.
<--- CAI for 3 years no lock... i avoid bodies of water
I'm not a clue smuggler like some people I know though.. he he he! <hides>

lol drive thru a lake??! haha who would do that?!?! lol but what if like during heavy raining??? it's pooring like a bish?? lol would i still need a bypass valve?
Ive had a CAI of some variety for almost 3 years as well. Never had a problem.
The World Sport is a notoriously quiet exhaust. You didnt know that when you bought it?
I have an h22a, obx 4-2-1 (copy of greddy), test pipe, 2.25" catback, to a unrestrictive matrix muffler its loud as all hell. I also have a straight CAI with the battery in the trunk for even more noise.
Wanting noise is kind of a wierd question.....you could strip your interior etc for noise....

it's sound kinda dumb to cruise around with all the stunna watching.
just keep the one you have..is good stuff!!
CAI? bypass value are nice but i never have a problem here in SoCal.
I just switch to short ram when the rainy season.

I am looking for something quiet. Did the Apex give you noticable performance gain, that is what I want. Less sound, you should of went with the N1 or something. Even w/ my headers, my AEM CAI is the loudest thing on my car. You only need the bypass valve if the bottom of the intake tube gets submerged, which on my car is close to one and a half feet.

it made it through the snow fine last year too, this year i put the stock airbox back on for winter though.
my girl's v6 has aem cai and she had a custom exhaust job done 2 1/4 piping i believe and magnaflows, her intake makes more noise than her exhaust lol but i like it its not loud at all and it sounds nice when at wot. depends on your pref. on another note i had to replace me cat and i drove it around with out one well let me tell you my ears were hurting for ever never will that ever happen i'm getting a quite exhasut as well cuz the constant loudness is anoying
get a straight/test pipe... basically run with no cat... i got a test pipe with my 5zigen catback on my 94 accord... it's not that loud... it's only louder cause my rear seats are gone...
