Default D16A6 into '90 CRX HF, questions

Hello guys. I got a D16A6, full long block, that I want to put into my CRX HF. I've read from various sources that it will plug and play except for a sensor on the intake manifold. Is this correct?

Can I still run the HF ECU? Or do I need to put the HF Intake Manifold on the D16A6? I have the PM6 for the D16A6 as well.

The HF intake is tiny . . . keep the A6/PM6.

I would imaging the fuel and spark maps would be more aggressive and compensate better for the 4v head/cam than the lazy profiles of the 2v cam.

yes swap is plug and play. You will need a PM6 ECU to take advantage of the D16A6, I have a couple I'd sell one for next to nothing.

Yes, the HF has an EGR ( exhaust gas recirculation) valve which the Si does not have.

HF ECU + Si intake manifold = check engine light... because of the missing EGR.

Use the Si intake manifold and Si ECU, problem solved. Just leave the EGR plug alone.

I also swapped to the Si instrument cluster - it has a higher red line. I believe you'll need a '90/'91 cluster.
