Default Raise motor for tranny to clear subframe?

-97 Ek Civic
-6 Bolt 4G63t swap (yes, dsm)
-Turbo dsm trans

Issue: because the motor/trans sits a lot lower and it's a lot taller of an engine, it being into my civic is making the trans barly tap on the subframe when shifting. You hear a slight "tink"

I've seen the methods of adding washers & raising the motor. And I may go down this route, but before hand does anyone else have a sufficient method that may help me?

Thanks in advance,
Justin.

Figures out how to swap in a 4G63. Can't figure out how to post pictures or dent a subframe to fit components.

@grumble thank you, I honestly never thought of that. That's hilarious. I planned on raising the motor but that's probably a lot easier and more efficient.

@B Serious Lol? It's just one of those things that slip your mind. Don't gotta act all cool man just chill out, why do you think I'm on here asking for help? Because I didn't think about that. Thank you for your answer though.

I get it, I know it sounded funny, but from the way the trans is up against the frame, I can't notch it, I'm gonna have to raise the motor.

I read an article where a guy lifted the motor so he could have an awd prelude. That was the easiest step of his swap I'm sure. Might need a custom hood in the end.
