Sup guys welcome to my build thread,ill be posting pics of my hatch as i build it,its a simple k series build "full k20z1" with tastefull mods.. .my last build:
NWP4LIFE: 2.0 midori build

had alot of fun with that car,it was really the first car I can say I build,I went through the whole phase of growing out of these cars so i went ahead and listed the car for sale or trade,ended up getting a tsx witch was comftorable but boring to drive,I looked around for shells but couldnt find anything clean,I messed up and traded the tsx for an rsx that ended up being a huge pos,sold that quickly..At that point I wasnt happy with a car like i was with my midori so i went after the car i wanted for a while witch was an s2000
,picked that up and drove that around for year and the whole time I was still itching to build another car,not so much the s2000 so I ended up selling it,got a nice penny for it,paid some debts and got straight to the drawing board,I found an acura integra to daily and next was a clean eg hatch shell to build up...I live in south florida so these cars go like hot cakes,i ended up getting the full swap and most of the parts before I had the shell....After searching for nearly 2 months I finnally found the one,It came with no wheels so i put on some rotas i had laying around.
day 1 november 14th

got her home



my motor and transmission,2006 k20z1 31k miles picked up oct 28th


I immediatley began adding my parts to it,oem floor mats from afhparts

racekar and daily


picked up some muteki lugs and skunk2 coilovers from jhp


rbc manifold,hondata gasket from kseriesparts


ran the oem box mounted with the rcrew shift plate



oem honda radio delete


picked up one of my fav wheels of all time,vertex 10star

cockpit


removed the dash to take out all ac components since i was not planning on running ac




ktuned conversion harness routed


cut the center council to run my cables


before pic of the interior,ill post after shot later


old vs new,the nuespeeds are going on my daily



picked up some wilwood brakes with rotors and steel lines for a price i couldnt sleep on

new engine bay hardware,was never a fan of allan heads so i got oem style zinc plate bolts

Very clean shell, I wish I could get cars like that in canada, build looks like it will turn out very nice, keep us updated lol!!!!

Shell looks pretty clean. What mods are you thinking of doing to the engine itself?

 

bri09dac other then bolt ons i plan on ditching the 2.0 short block for the 2.4 in the near future

 

Great work When you get her fired up can you post an exhaust clip of that ktuned muffler??

removed all the interior panels,happy the last owner painted it inside

fuse box back in,aswell as battery tray,also ran the fuel line under the mount

ended up pulling my manifold and sold it,waiting on my new one to come in


picked up a jsracing tow hook and oem hood bra

picked up some parts, 3" exhaust piping,ported rbc with 70mm throttle body,itr rear strut bar

 

got my all in fabrication 3"-4" intake,got it made to fit behind the grill =]
