What should or shouldnt' I use to clean my window tint?
Sorry if this seems like a dumb question, but just wondering if there was any product I should stay away from when cleaning my mirror tint. I have had it for about 4 weeks, but have never cleaned the inside part of the windows where the tint is. Can I just use windex or something to clean the tint or will that ruin it?Any help would be great, thanks.
Don't use anything that has ammonia in it. Normal Windex has ammonia in it so don't use it. Ammonia-Free Windex and Anti-Bacterial Windex don't have ammonia, so I think they should be ...OK... But the best is an auto glass cleaner from Pep Boys or an auto store. Or ask your installer.
