Default best primer

I just got all my OEM suspension parts cleaned and sand blasted, such as the rear trailing arms, front subframe, control arms, shock forks, sway bars etc. now I wanna repaint them, which type of primer is best? I have access to rust oleum, I plan to use their appliance enamel paint.

I bought some rust-oleum self etching primer, hope that works well

Something like POR-15 / Rust Bullet is going to be MUCH tougher than any Rust-oleum junk.

They can go on top of any primer, or will also work without a primer at all if the metal is prepped properly.

Some examples in gloss black POR15 below:

rust Oleum is good spray can paint, plus its the only American product other than crylon that I can find. all the German stuff is water base.
